Watch
out that no one deceives you
For many will come in my name
Claiming, I am the Christ
And will deceive many
Why didn’t I
believe
While I still had a chance
Can’t stand what I see
Not even a glance
Where are you my sweet
one?
Evil on my every side
Can I have salvation?
Will I have to die?
Left behind, left behind
Nothing left, but Satan’s kind
Tell me
What have I done?
Why didn’t I see?
The plunges have started now
Evils surrounding me
For now
What shall I do?
Should I receive the mark
The number 666
The world is getting dark
Left behind, left behind
Nothing left but Satan’s kind |
Being forty-three years old, I’ve had many musical influences.
Bands like Ted Nugent, AC DC, Deep Purple, Metalica, and Iron Maiden.
I could go on forever, there are a lot of bands that are out today
that have also influenced my path in honing my art. I’ve always
liked the dark lyrics of bands like Black Sabbath. The lyrics in
this song could be construed as being very dark. The one thing I
give the listener is light, resolution, and a solution to the problem
at hand. The solution however needs to be dealt with in the now,
and not the latter. The problem at hand of the main character in
the story is that he, or she was left behind after the rapture of
the church. According to scripture, there are only a few who will
have the chance to live in the Lords presence for eternity after
the rapture of the church. Those people will have to die for their
faith. Those who stand firm to the end and not receive the mark
of the beast, will be martyred and die for their faith. In the story,
the subject has to go through the trials and tribulations of the
final wrath of God on the people who have rejected him. It doesn’t
take the character very long to realize that he had made a mistake
by rejecting the Lord’s love and grace. Realizing his mistake,
the question is raised, “what do I do now”? My suggestion?
Take the time to research it for your self so you can make the right
decision before it’s too late. |
