The
gates of hell have been opened
The coming time draws near
The Spirit of truth has spoken
My words are true and sincere
I am the light to all
men
But many will refuse to see
The wicked will fall and die to sin
You can live, just believe in me
A time is coming
The time has now come
My reward is with me
Put your faith in the son
Will you refuse to
accept my love
How much more could I give
Grace and peace from above
Embrace me so you may live
I came to give you
my life
My blood spilt to the ground
On my flesh I bore the stripes
I know my teachings are sound
A time is coming
The time has now come
My reward is with me
Put your faith in the Son
The task given is now
complete
I have done what was meant to be
Satan now crushed in defeat
Pick up your cross and follow me
What the prophets said
has come true
Christ will suffer and rise from the dead
Go into the world preach the good news
Carry out my work to the end
A time is coming
The time has now come
My reward is with me
Put your faith in the Son |
As for number three, it’s self explanatory, “Faith in
the Son”.
I think most people in the world have the misconception that what
we do and how we do it will get us into heaven. One of the most
wonderful gifts that God gave us was his gift of grace. The acceptance
of his son is good enough. He alone is the replacement for you and
I on the cross. At the end when he was about to give up his spirit,
he asked his God and father, “ my God, why have you forsaken
me”? The reason that he asked this was because he, like God
is perfect, without sin. When he took our place on the cross, he
bore the sin for all. God has no tolerance for sin and Jesus was
never a sinner and had never felt or experienced sin before. When
he bore our sin he felt true separation from God himself. He was
our substitute for our sin. The wonderful thing is that when Christ
died on the cross, he conquered sin and death at the same time. |
